Lawyer-Supported Mediation

We are excited to be the first firm in Hertfordshire to join the growing national network of Lawyer-Supported Mediation.

Family Mediation is more likely to take place and to work where both parties have lawyers who support and encourage mediation.

The  initiative works with a central hub where both parties are engaged in the mediation process at an early stage and mediation and legal representation is organised.  Lawyer‑Supported Mediation allows  lawyers to provide an affordable fixed fee covering legal advice and drafting in support of family mediation.

To mark Family Dispute Resolution Week, we are organising a local networking event at our offices  in St Albans on Tuesday 26th November 2013.
